Verified channels
As part of VMF's mission to build the world's most creator-friendly video community, we're focused on spotlighting and empowering creators who make unique and authentic videos. If that sounds like you, you may be eligible for channel verification. Verified channels receive the following benefits on VMF:
- Eligibility to appear in the community-curated “Trending videos” feed on VMF’s front page
- No duration limit on video uploads
- Video uploads can be up to 20GB each
- Videos can play back in full 1080p HD
- Ability to publish your videos to categories, making them much more discoverable
- Ability to collect tips (actual $) directly from fans
- Ability to receive monthly recurring channel subscriptions (at a price you set) from your biggest fans
- Ability to delete unwanted comments on your own videos
- Much higher likelihood of having your videos and channel featured
- More prominence in search results and other discovery sections around VMF
- A snazzy badge on your channel page letting everyone know you're the real deal
Before submitting your application, please make sure your channel:
- Has at least 50 VMF followers (strongly suggested)
- Has a profile avatar and cover image
- Has at least one video
- Adheres to our community rules
If you receive notice that your channel is currently ineligible for verification, you’ll be placed on a waitlist, so there’s no need to reapply. Reapplying may further delay your application. The VMF team routinely reevaluates channels on this waitlist. In the meantime, we encourage you to stay active on the platform and continue to interact with the VMF community in a positive way.
